50 Useless Facts About Myself

1) I am a mother of two beautiful and hilarious girls.
2) I have been married to my amazing, handsome, and hardworking husband since 2006.
3) I am a full-time law student, but I graduate in about two months!!
4) My husband is a Navy helicopter pilot.
5) No matter how many flights he has flown, I always feel unsettled until I know he has safely landed. I am almost positive this feeling will never go away.
6) I am originally from Idaho and I LOVE the mountains, rivers, landscaping, and people.
7) I love country music and have an unhealthy obsession with George Strait.
8) I drive a Chevy pickup.
9) I am a tomboy at heart, but I wouldn't be caught dead without my makeup and hair done.
10) I think high heels and a string of pearls are perfectly acceptable with blue jeans.
11) I feel obligated to fill awkward silences. This usually leads to equally awkward moments because I lack a social filter.
12) When I first saw my husband, I felt like I had known him my whole life.
13) I have fed my family ice cream for dinner on more than one occasion.
14) I love fishing.
15) I enjoy 1980s romantic comedies, mainly because they are simultaneously  awesome and ridiculous.
16) I fear public bathrooms and have held my bladder for an entire 18 hour road trip because I could not find a "suitable" bathroom. Some bathrooms are so questionable, not even a hover will suffice.
17) My favorite movie is Full Metal Jacket.
18) I get crazy seasick. I discovered this 12 minutes into an 8 hour deep-sea fishing trip. It was ugly.
19) I am not photogenic...at all. IF I take a decent picture of myself , it will remain my profile picture FOREVER.
20) I think Bohemian Rhapsody may be one of the best songs ever.
21) I laugh at fart humor and I don't care how immature this makes me. It is hilarious.
22) I have an extremely low-tolerance for excuses.
23) I am positive there is nothing better in this world than waking up to a smiling baby.
24) I am discovering that it is a lot harder to write 50 things about myself than I originally thought, but I am too stubborn to give up, so the list continues.
25) My favorite color is red.
26) I think it sounds condescending when a waitress calls me "honey." I don't like it. Please stop.
27) I hate cooking. I am actually a pretty good cook, I just cannot stand the mess it makes.
28) I love sushi.
29) In college, a drunk guy got confused, stumbled into my apartment, and tried to climb into my bed (where I was sleeping). I was pretty sure I was about to die, so I proceeded to beat him with my closest weapon....a high heel. I won.
30) I have three sisters. We can fight like crazy, but they are still my best friends. I miss them.
31) I watch Dr. Phil. Don't judge.
32) Growing up we owned a goat named Billy. He was my buddy.
33) My Jimmy still leaves me little love notes on heart shaped post-it notes.
34) When Jimmy and I first married, I moved into his "bachelor pad":  a single-wide trailer, on the side of a mountain, in Troy, Idaho, in below-freezing temperatures...without a heater. Those are some of my best memories with him (so far).
35) I am one of those people who believe almost every song they hear is about their life.
36) I think the tops of babies' heads smell good. Toddlers, not so much.
37) I really wish I could sing, but I cannot. At all.
38) I don't think you have lived until you have ridden an iceblock down the side of a hill.
39) I have a Cocker Spaniel named Maggie. She smells like a foot, but she has a sweet soul.
40) I own a zebra print Snuggie and it has changed my life. I love that thing.
41) I seem to get along best with people who laugh at inappropriate moments.
42) I use entirely too much hairspray.
43) I love Diet Coke.
44) I could not care less how someone puts the toilet paper on the roll.
45) We have lived in 7 homes so far. Moving is one of my favorite things about the Navy.
46) I curse way too much. I would like to say I am working on it, but I am not.
47) I still get butterflies when I see my husband.
48) I love finding local seafood restaurants where you can sit outside by the water and eat your weight in crab legs.
49) I am a little afraid of the dark.
50) I get uncomfortable when people hug me.
